  3. I think Daisy still loves Gatsby because she has loved him since the war and when they had their meeting you could tell that she still had affection for him. I do agree with Nick, because you can tell that since she's his greatest devotion then she is more than likely to be in his dreams and reuniting with her is his greatest dream, I think. Fin is Daisy's servant, he helps Nick get the house ready for Daisy's and Gatsby's meeting. The various rooms in Gatsby's mansion are described in historical terms in which they are compared to that of a feudal lord, or an aristrocat in some sense. The appearance of the green light is like somewhere were he can place his hope and he can reach for.

  5. Daisy is worthy of Gatsby's love because it becomes apparant in the chapters that she shares the love for him that he has towards her. Regardless this will cause problems between Daisy and Tom if it becomes public.

  6. A Finn is a slang term for person from Finland. Referring to the maid, could have told me to research this.

  7. Gatsby has a very old English themed mansion and being a well traveled man he describes it in odd ways with foreign words, and using language we are not necessarily accustomed to.

  8. I think the green light is Daisy's house and Gatsby just chose to live where he does because he can see it from his house and that in a way fulfilled his stalker cravings.
